Bothan is Edinburgh's Gaelic night club. A place where Gaelic speakers and friends of Gaelic can get together for an evening of good cràic, Gaelic arts and the best of company.
The club meets once a month, generally on the first Friday of the
month in the White Room (the upstairs bar) at the GRV, 37 Guthrie
Street, EH1 1JG - just of Chambers Street.
Bothan is run by a Committee of dedicated volunteers who meet regularly to set a programme of events for the club. If you would like to get in touch (and offers of help are always welcome!) e-mail Bothan@DunEideann.net.
Bothan
recently celebrated its fifth birthday with a special night of
entertainment featuring new Tollcross based adult band Gràisg, led
by Gillian McLuskey, and top artists Dannsa, and Rachel Newton.
The new season of monthly events kicks off with:
- Friday 6th Novembert 2009, The Outhouse, 8.30 pm. Featuring Norrie MacIver.
